Cayla Andrews | Head Coach

Cayla Andrews took over as the head field hockey coach at DeSales in March, 2024. She comes to DeSales having served as the Graduate Assistant coach at FDU-Florham over the past two seasons helping the Devils earn a spot in the MAC Freedom postseason in 2022. Additionally, she has served as the head coach for Total Dutch FH since November, 2022 and was an assistant coach at Arcadia University for 17 months in 2021-22.

Andrews has a decorated career as a player graduating from The College of New Jersey in Dec., 2020 with Bachelor’s degree in finance. She finished her career with 76 career goals and 171 career points to rank among the top five in program history. She helped the Lions win three NJAC Conference Championships and advance to the NCAA Tournament four times.

During her career Andrews earned First-Team All-American honors in 2019. She was First-Team All-Region and First-Team All-NJAC twice. Andrews was named the NJAC Offensive Player of the Year in 2019 leading NCAA Division III in goals, goals per game, and points per game.

She hails from Hackettstown, NJ where she graduated from Hackettstown HS in 2016.
