Lindsay Goeller  |  Head Coach


Goeller returns for her fourth season with the Bulldogs having led DSU to the best season in school history in 2017.  DeSales posted a school-record 12 wins and won its first ever MAC Freedom postseason tournament game knocking off top seeded FDU-Florham, 2-0, to advance to the conference championship game.  DSU also earned a spot into the ECAC Tournament.

She is a 2012 graduate of Tufts University earning a bachelor of arts in English before earning her Masters of Education from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2014.

While earning her Masters from UMASS, Goeller spent two years as a graduate assistant coach before being promoted to the first assistant at Amherst in 2014 helping the Jeffs to a 36-12 record in her three years on the sidelines.

Prior to Amherst, Goeller was a four-year member of the field hockey team and was voted as a co-captain and team MVP as a senior at Tufts.  She was a two-time Longstreth/NFHCA All-Region honoree and was named All-NESCAC Second-Team in 2011.  Goeller was also chosen to play in the prestigious NFHCA Senior All-Star Game.  The Jumbos won the 2009 NESCAC Championship and participated in two national Final Fours, finishing as the national runners-up during Goeller’s freshman year in 2008.

Goeller (maiden name is Griffith) is originally from Wilmington, DE attending Tower Hill School.  She married husband Will in the spring of 2018 and has a Basset Hound named Clifford.
