Directions To DeSales University Field Hockey Turf Field

  • From Scranton & North: Take I-476, the NE Extension of the PA Turnpike to Rt. 22 (Lehigh Valley Exit). Proceed east 1/8 mile on Rt. 22 to Rt. 309 south (towards Quakertown). In a few miles, Rt. 309 joins with I-78. Continue south on this combined I-78 and Rt. 309 until Rt. 309 branches off toward the south (about five miles, Exit 60). Continue south on Rt. 309 another three miles. At the intersection of Rt. 309 and Rt. 378, make a left onto Rt. 378. Take Rt. 378 north for about ½ mile and turn right at Preston Lane. Follow Preston Lane into campus. As you follow Preston Lane into campus, the field hockey fields are located behind Billera Hall on your right as you enter campus.  Park in the Billera Hall parking lot and you can access the fields by walking through Billera Hall and exiting out the rear doors of the building.
  • From New York / New Jersey: Take the NJ Turnpike and/or I-287 to I-78 west across NJ and into PA to Rt. 309 south (Exit 60A). Continue south on Rt. 309 another three miles. At the intersection of Rt. 309 and Rt. 378, make a left onto Rt. 378. Take Rt. 378 north for about ½ mile and turn right at Preston Lane. Follow Preston Lane into campus. As you follow Preston Lane into campus, the field hockey fields are located behind Billera Hall on your right as you enter campus.  Park in the Billera Hall parking lot and you can access the fields by walking through Billera Hall and exiting out the rear doors of the building.
  • From Harrisburg & West: Proceed east on I-78 to Rt. 309 south (Exit 60). Continue south on Rt. 309 another three miles. At the intersection of Rt. 309 and Rt. 378, make a left onto Rt. 378.  Take Rt. 378 north for about ½ mile and turn right at Preston Lane.  Follow Preston Lane into campus. As you follow Preston Lane into campus, the field hockey fields are located behind Billera Hall on your right as you enter campus.  Park in the Billera Hall parking lot and you can access the fields by walking through Billera Hall and exiting out the rear doors of the building.
  • From Philadelphia & South: Take I-476, the NE Extension of the PA Turnpike to Exit 44 (Quakertown exit). Make a left onto Rt. 663 following the tollbooth and follow Rt. 663 into Quakertown. Turn left onto Rt. 309 north and proceed eight miles to the intersection of Rt. 309 and Rt. 378.  At this intersection make a right onto Rt. 378.  Proceed north on Rt. 378 for about ½ mile and turn right onto Preston Lane. Follow Preston Lane into campus. As you follow Preston Lane into campus, the field hockey fields are located behind Billera Hall on your right as you enter campus.  Park in the Billera Hall parking lot and you can access the fields by walking through Billera Hall and exiting out the rear doors of the building.
